Mommy cut Elijah's hair- just the sides and the back. He's showing us E-on kid with his haircut.
A recent streak of warm weather has meant lots of playing outside. YEAH! Elijah pushed the other two around in the stroller yesterday, and today they were riding bikes with no coats on.

This picture comemorates our first potty training attempt with Isaiah. After three weeks and very little success, we're going to take a break. He likes to use the potty, but just won't attempt it on his own- or even with reminders. So, we'll take the pressure off for a while and try again. When we put his diaper on him this afternoon, he didn't like the discomfort of it, so he may decide on his own that he'd rather wear underwear than a diaper. He is just independent enough that having the choice weather or not he wants to wear the diaper may be all it takes. We'll see. Isaiah certainly has a will of his own. :)

If you don't be careful in letting them play outside in this warm weather, they may grow up thinking Global Warming is a good thing...or worse, Republicans! :)

Potty training sounds like LOADS (no pun intended) fun!
Hope y'all are doing well. We are under about a foot of snow right now so sun and warm sounds pretty awesome right now!

I am so jealous of the warm weather - I would trade anything to let the kids play with no coats! I'm glad you guys have that weather.

Simile Metaphor Collection

Elijah after running: My heart is beating like a coconut rolling down a hill.
Elijah on urination: Pee is like horses galloping out of the gate. Once they get started you just can't stop them.
Elijah: If school were a human I'd give it a wedgie.
Elijah: I am like a hot rod and I just want to be a plain old Ford
Elijah on the fruits of the spirit: I've got them all covered except self-control. Its like a tiny green tomato and the rest are all big ripe ones. Especially love. Its like the biggest tomato we saw in the garden tonight.
