Park Sprinklers

Warming up after playing in the frigid sprinklers.
These umbrellas from Grammie were a big hit with all of the kids at the park.
It was a rare HOT day in NB today.  Right around 85, so we took advantage of the sun and nice weather to visit the Woodstock park.  The sprinklers are a fantastic addition to the park since I was a kid.  Free fun all day every day.

Elijah is obsessed with this tank.

I loved climbing on that cannon when I was a kid! Great pictures! When is your move, Erin? We're moving from Alberta to Cape Breton in about 3 weeks. Blessings on you and your beautiful family!

Joy,
All of our stuff is already in Maryland. We're just waiting for Eric to officially start his job July 11th and we'll move into the parsonage. He'll be the pastor of the Wesleyan church in Keymar, MD. So, if your family ever wants to visit the DC, Baltimore, Gettysburg, PA area, we'd love to house swap with you. I've always wanted to visit Cape Breton. OR you could just come and stay with us. There will be plenty of space. Blessings on your move to the island. New job?

Simile Metaphor Collection

Elijah after running: My heart is beating like a coconut rolling down a hill.
Elijah on urination: Pee is like horses galloping out of the gate. Once they get started you just can't stop them.
Elijah: If school were a human I'd give it a wedgie.
Elijah: I am like a hot rod and I just want to be a plain old Ford
Elijah on the fruits of the spirit: I've got them all covered except self-control. Its like a tiny green tomato and the rest are all big ripe ones. Especially love. Its like the biggest tomato we saw in the garden tonight.
